Off to Heron Island

The blog is suspended. For the next fortnight. I'm going on holiday which will take me to such exotic places as Melbourne and Heron Island. For four days I'm not even going to be able to turn on a computer - fantastic! I expect to be hitting the road looking at yearlings when I get back (why I don't know, no one's asked me to) so whether I resume the blog or not is in the lap of the gods. I might start talking to real people instead of myself. That would make a change.

Would love you to keep going with the blog Steve. I already miss the informative, sometimes sarcastic always funny comments!!Your coverage of the yearling sales, especially in this finacial climate would be very interesting.

Two weeks are nearly up. Do come back ASAP as you have something interesting to say each and every time you comment. See you at Karaka.

Steve, this sojourn of yours is rapidly turning into a lengthy sabbatical.

Gees, you kiwis can be lazy sods at times!

I need a holiday to recover from the holiday.

If you resume your blog I promise not to mention stiff cheese again!

We all appreciate that maintaining a blog is actually hard work. Perhaps a weekly column would provide the opportunity for a greater choice of material and comment - but it's the quality of the comment that we really appreciate.
